Information Center

An Information Centre has been established in the Colombo Municipal Council and is located on the ground floor of the Town Hall building near the main entrance.

The aim of this centre is to provide an efficient communication process so that the needs of the rate payers could be attended to quickly.

Any rate payer who needs assistance and Wishes to contact any section of the Colombo Municipal Council even after office hours would be able to do so through the following numbers.

Information Centre will be, open to public from 7.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. and a Complaint Desk from 8.00 p.m to 7.30 a.m - thus maintaining a 24 hour service.

Emergency Unit for attending to breakdowns on Weekends and Public Holidays.

A Special Emergency Unit has also been established in the Colombo Municipal Council and is located on the mezzanine floor of the Municipal Engineer's Department at the ground floor of the Town Hall Building. This Unit attends to Public Complaints regarding break down of essential services such as Water Supply, Drainage , Sewerage and Street Lighting etc. on Weekends and Public Holidays from 8.30 a.m to 5.00 p.m.
