Aim of Health Education

The WHO has formulated the aims of health education as follows :

• To ensure that health is value as an asset in the community.
• To equip the people with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to enable them to solve their health problems by their own action and effort.
• To promote the development and proper use of health services.
